I am looking for a Chair...

Why is it that every time we travel, we need to just sit down and take a look at the beautiful things around us, its not only that we need to rest, but also we need to absorb what surrounds us.

Rockport Massachusetts

Let me tell you a something, When we sit and pay attention to what is going around us, these pictures stay within us during the coming days when we need to relax.  When you walk, look for places that call your name and take some time to see your surroundings.  God speaks to us; we can hear His voice loud and clear. God wants to communicate with you in many ways.

This chair is calling my name... come and sit, come and rest...Its almost a hiding place.

Psalms 32:7-9
You are my hiding place from every storm of life; You even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.

Virginia Arboretum Beautiful Garden

I Love the way the plants are surrounding the photo. Again this calls me to rest, relax and enjoying hearing the birds.
We all need to stop, specially during the weekend and enjoy the beautiful places that surround us. We spend too much time on the phones, computers, fixing, caring, and we forget that we do need time to sit and rest.

Isaiah 26:3-4
He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! Trust in the Lord always, for in the Lord, Jehovah, is your everlasting strength.

There is something about a white rocking chair...

Philippians 4:6-7
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.

Don't forget this week, look for a nice chair.

Until next time
