I am looking for a Chair...

Why is it that every time we travel, we need to just sit down and take a look at the beautiful things around us, its not only that we need to rest, but also we need to absorb what surrounds us.

Rockport Massachusetts

Let me tell you a something, When we sit and pay attention to what is going around us, these pictures stay within us during the coming days when we need to relax.  When you walk, look for places that call your name and take some time to see your surroundings.  God speaks to us; we can hear His voice loud and clear. God wants to communicate with you in many ways.

 Old Town Alexandria

This chair is calling my name... come and sit, come and rest...Its almost a hiding place.

Psalms 32:7-9
You are my hiding place from every storm of life; You even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.

Virginia Arboretum Beautiful Garden

I Love the way the plants are surrounding the photo. Again this calls me to rest, relax and enjoying hearing the birds.
We all need to stop, specially during the weekend and enjoy the beautiful places that surround us. We spend too much time on the phones, computers, fixing, caring, and we forget that we do need time to sit and rest.

Isaiah 26:3-4
He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! Trust in the Lord always, for in the Lord, Jehovah, is your everlasting strength.

Rockport Massachusetts

There is something about a white rocking chair...

Philippians 4:6-7
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.

Don't forget this week, look for a nice chair.

Until next time

Journaling Though Art by Maritza Lovett

What is in your backyard or in your neighborhood? go and Explore the beauty!

After a terrible Headache this morning, I had this spontaneous thought that came form the Lord; go out and walk with your camera; enjoy yourself and do what you love to do, so I did and walk though my neighborhood. Sometimes we feel that we have to go out somewhere and we don't see and enjoy what we have just next to our neighborhood. In here Peter and I were just having a blast, enjoying nature and speaking about the wonderful things God has Created.

I am going to be for a minute serious, I was not born in America so if you can excusemua! My English is not that fine, but if I can just relax and enjoy that my words don't need to be perfect, I can share and maybe also tell you that you can be just the way God created you to be.  Art is a Language of Love.

My encouragement for you today is for you to get out and see the details that are around you. God will speak to you and give you so much encouragement, wisdom and revelation when you are just walking and seeing not only with your eyes but hearing with your eyes and being sensitive to your spirit.

Scripture of the day
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me

Here check out these rocks. There was a display of them and don't they look nice, you will never see this if you don't pay attention.
God wants us to pay attention so you can see!

There is Peter, checking something out. He is always catching on small details. I love it!

This is such a refreshing picture next to a pond. who would  think to go there...

Here we got to play with stones and take pictures to see the details of the water.

In him we move and breath and have our being...

wow check out the movement on that water...

closer... wow

Simplicity... that is refreshing... the details are so peaceful to the eyes.

You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.

look at the texture, God is into details don't you think so?

The Joy of the Lord is my Strength

amazing flower, they look like olives ready to eat...

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

This flower was taken next to our house, I was probably driving every day next to these and missed them
What a beauty!

Here is another one... they are so small but when you get closer you see the beauty
and those are left after the flower is gone!.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.
The Lord be with you all.

Be blessed until the next time! enjoy being creative.
